Will there be a hd advance coming out ofr the ps3?

We don't know yet but it's likely however, that firmware updates will make it a bit hard for it to keep going.
As with all things ps3 related it's a matter of time.

If $ony does like they are doing with the PSP games, it will be a constant battle of keeping ahead of the firmware while using a downgrader to have the game work on older (pre-updated) systems.

on fatwallet.com the other day, I saw a 600+ GB HDD by Seagate going for <$180. So you can expect a 1 terrabyte HDD to debut sometime in Spring 2007. If 8 PS3 games can fit on a 300GB HDD (@37GB a piece) imagine what a 1,000+ GB HDD can do? XD
