things I was annoyed abotu with MP and MP2
1. Cutsceen skipping
it seems in MP2 they let you skip SOME cutsceens yet not the ones that are everywhere (elevators,and others)
2.Disappearing ammo
...the Ammo in the game is scarce compared to MP1 and the add the fact you have more ammo eating weapons in MP2..I mean you take down a heavy class fighter or monster only to get 1 thing when you used to get 2-5 things...ugh
3.the menu system is not as simple or helpful as it was..maybe I just hate the new menu system but it seems it dosen't state clearly what keys I have and what keys need to be gotten...blah...
4.who's got the damn map.....
the map should keep a record of tanks,missiles and stuff or at the least let you make small notes....also the lack of marking half pipe and other need to know things got me lost.....I didn't mind the annoying map telling me every 5 min in MP1 where to go..I did survive Zelda 64 damn that fairy was annoying Tongue
also they should bring back the scanning in ball form,so you can scan and log stuff in ball mode so its added to the map and such....
5.On track and mind numbing.....there such a thing as to much forcing you to one path..and MP2 goes beyond MP1 and makes you go where the devs want I loved Super metroid so,you could go into places normally you shouldn't I love stuff like that and MP is so lacking in that department,also limiting you to what you can jump on,inviable walls,limiting screw attack to a pitiful version of space jump witch they limited how high it can go yet you can go lower than it...they also removed the ability to use the boost jump when you fall off a ledge......meh they could do better.....
6.Weapon nerfing
Nothing like taking those hard fought for weapons and turning them into foam shooting non lethal fuzz guns...(which seems to be happening to alto of FPSs these days) ><
1.Missiles
Missiles need a bit more radius not allot in all their power could be a little more since in all fairness some enemies either bounce off or avoid missiles,I miss the old missile machine gun like in the 2d games since the game is focused around adventure style and lock on that would be a bit overkill however if you make it where you have to aim with the and can rapid fire them without lock on some neat things can happen
2.Charged beam
Charged Beam is a little under powered and it needs radius damage
3.Beams and more beams
Since in MP2 we have ammo eating evil beams its a good idea to maybe make a new beam to upgrade it or make the beam little stronger threw new suit systems.
Dark beam
slow simple
Light Beam
fast short ranged and a bit underpowered
Charged Light beam
a spread of tracking bolts bolts :3
Changed Dark beam
slow non tracking binding dark matter,not to bad
Anilliator
Fast and has tracking and eats ammo like a hog
Charged shot
is a rather limited sound blast which should stun enmies but dose not.....
Sun burst
Slow...non tracking and blatantly pitiful if anything it should make lighted area that damages stuff slowly
Darkburst
tracking ball of black death... but strange as a mini black hole is its radius is limited something can fly into it and not be damaged 0-o
In all the damages and radius damage to all these weapons do needs to be retweaked
I'd say Mp1 is good but MP2 is lacking you can see it in the invisible walls,lack of balance,rehashed monsters and other effortless game design todays devs love so much...still tho its a solid 6 I say MP1 is a 7 because of weapon design and lack of
