carefully read the readme/instrucsion first and do it to get the best out of ur psp!!!!!
now if u r say where to get games?i say eighter u can buy them in umd or like me download them from p2p/torrents!!!!! then after downloadin the iso u can put it in iso folder in ur ms and start playing from the game menu of ur psp!!!!!! i wish all of the writing helped U!!! just kiddin lolz :)!!!goodluck

hey junkdude, remember me?? its good to see your still posting in this thread, and its good to see you've gotten a downgrade. i must say though i was suprised to see that you upgraded to 3.03 OE-C, most people who finaly get back to 1.50 never wanna leave. lol. but seriously, i have a question, do you know any programs that one can use to compile the source code of homebrew applications?? i would like to be able to modify some programs that have the source code released with them. so any information you have i would greatly appritiate it.

well i'm not sure where to get wat u want but i can suggest u to find it in pspupdates.qj.net first then if u cant find anything familier to wat u want then can sgin up in there and ask in qj.net forums for wat u want!!!!well i stoped playing homebrew and was wanting to stick with iso/cso psp games for some time ;) thts why not sure any sourse code edit program is out or not!!!!!!sorry for tht!!!!good luck!

ok lets get serious. Im good at computers. Above normal. But i dont know v.much about PSPś. I checked inside the umd reader and i couldnt see any code written, so good news. My psp Version is 2.81 and can you please help me 2 downgrade me to 1.5. Ive heard that you can download games and put it onto your memorystick and play WITHOUT BUYING AN UMD DISK WOW.
so can you give the main steps of what should i Do

Hey dude, well, i feel your pain, i used to be stuck with a "homebrewless" psp, and it really sucked, it sucked so much, that i went out and bought a second one so i could play homebrew. lol. with all the advances in psp hacking though, i now have 2 homebrew compatable psp, and thats what i call cool.

Anyway, there does exist a way to downgrade a 2.81 psp back to 1.50, and from there upgrade to a custom firmware (at least i would recomend doing so, cuz custom firmware is the shit!!! 3.03 OE C foeva!!!!!) anyway, you can downgrade as long as you have this one key element: You need to have a copy of Grand Theaft Auto: Liberty city Stories, that is unpatched. i asume that as you dont know much about psps you wouldnt know about the exploitfound by hackers in that game's save options, that allows the execution of unsigned code, or, Homebrew.

So what your gonna want to do is get your hands on an unpatched copy of that game. how do you know if its unpatched?? simple; all you have to do, is insert the UMD, and wait for the psp to display the UMD game option, and the System Update option. the system update option is what you want to look at, because the version of the update is how you determine if it's patched or not. simply put, if the update verion, is 2.00, then the UMD is unpatched, if its 2.60, then it is patched.
so...

2.00 = Good
2.60 = Bad

So, if you can get your hands on this one item, and you have the confidence in the hackers who discover these things (they really really know what they're doing!!!!) then go to this link, and follow all the instructions. if you can do so, then you will be going back to 1.50 in no time

And i also noticed that it says that the 1.50 update is North America....
But i livein Belgium and my psp is european !
Will this Downgrade work for my psp`?
