My PS2 slim is not working. I've had it 14 months. After turning it on, I hear a fan for 5-8 seconds, then silence...no disc rotation or anything. 14 days ago, my PS2 was working, yet with very audible sounds during disc rotation (seemed noisy), but still worked. Now, the video is just the Sony browser screen. Can someone advise me? Is there a fix available?

This happend to my ps2 (not slim)but i tried playing ps1 games like ff 8, 9 all i did was clean the lens and the game and i claned my fan and it worked like it was brand new

Hi guys my ps2 doesnt read disks anymore after i pulled it apart
and also i bumped the laser on the worm gear is there anyone out there who knows how to re align the worm gear and laser?
It makes sounds like its out of alignment and comes up with disc read error :(
