Hi guys,

I am moderator on Afterdawn.com and have been pretty much dormant for a few years, getting on with life and starting a family. I was recently having a look at Chinavasion.com and whilst I am no proponent of drop-shipping (I believe it is to the 2000s what Amway and Tupperware was to the 80s and 90s) as I believe it only makes eBay and the dropshipper rich, there are some nice toys on there.

I spotted this:

and it rekindled in me an interest in those old gaming stations from years ago. I remember the Sega Mega Drive, Neo Geo and other platforms well. I remember the graphics being great for the time and waiting for the latest games to be released, sometimes buying them 'grey import' from Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street in London before they came out in the main UK stores like Virgin and Tower. I am going to buy myself one of these and although I am not sure yet where to get a stock of games for the emulator to work with, I am looking forward to playing some of those old games. I find a lot of the newer games cumbersome and complicated and although technically they are incredible, I always felt I got the most joy out of the earlier 'arcade' style generation of games.

This little console claims to emulate the following gaming Console Modes:
- NES (Nintendo Entertainment System - 8bit)
- SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System - 16bit)
- Sega Genesis (Sega Mega-Drive - 16-bit)
- GBA (Nintendo Game Boy Advance)
- Neo-Geo (SNK Neo-Geo)
- CPS1 and CPS2 (CAPCOM, arcade game systems, 1st and 2nd edition)

I will try to post some comments here. If anyone has any experience with them already, I would appreciate some input.

Keep well!

Paul.

I'm back...
...can't you smell the fear?
